Meet Our Staff
Hello and welcome! I used to be a participant, team leader and a student assistant during my five semesters with BRIDGE. After graduating from UW-Madison, I spent eight months in Panama where I completed my certificate to teach English. Now I work full-time with BRIDGE and I couldn’t be happier! Being part Arab and part Hispanic and having lived in Jordan and Panama, I feel as if my life has been a constant “bridging” of cultures and identities. These experiences have given me countless stories and the adventure only continues when BRIDGE is involved. I encourage all students to take a break and learn what being a BRIDGE’r is all about. You won’t regret it!
Assistant Director of International Student Engagement
Hello! My name is Sharece and I am the Assistant Director of International Student Engagement here at UW-Madison. I have been involved with international peer mentor programs at four different colleges or universities and LOVE the many connections and friendships that come from amazing programs like BRIDGE. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Ukraine, I can empathize with some of the challenges that international students face and love seeking new ways to offer support and engagement for them. Some of my favorite things to do are traveling, writing, drinking coffee, and spending time with amazing people! I’m excited to meet you all!
BRIDGE Student Assistant
Hi everyone! My name is Anna and I am a junior at UW-Madison studying Communication Arts and Music Performance. As a Madison native, I have so much fun showing my BRIDGE friends around town! I’ve found a home on campus through BRIDGE, and I can’t wait to help new members do the same. In my free time I like to see new places, meet new people, go camping, make music, and DJ a jazz show on student radio. I’m looking forward to a great semester with you all!
